WELCOME BACK to the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club operating under red light COVID restrictions.
It is important that the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club provide our members and visitors with a safe community in which they can enjoy our company. Our host the Pt Chevalier Memorial RSA has a Vaccination Policy to operate which requires all staff, volunteers, contractors, performers and visitors over the age of 12 to be vaccinated.
It is regretted that this will cause exclusion for some of our members and visitors, but the reality is that the Government has mandated that we operate under red or orange settings in the traffic light system which requires a vaccination policy.
On entry please wear your mask. Pt Chevalier Memorial RSA will
check in the 100 people limit (this includes their staff and visitors, our Jazz Club band and club visitors)
check your My Vaccine Pass on paper or phone if over the age of 12. They may ask to verify using photo identification.

Holding the crowd in the palm of her hand, be it a large music venue or intimate cabaret club, Cousin Alice is a magnetic performer. A talented singer/songwriter, she performs a collection of jazz standards, pop, nostalgia, blues and her own original work, including “Kukerichoo” , a number one hit in South Korea. Based in London but raised in New Zealand, of Barbadian/Welsh/English/Sephardi parentage, she draws on a rich infusion of Maori, Polynesian, Carribean and Calypso culture.
Live performances have been embraced around the world in Australia, Canada, Caribbean, UK, Europe, Mexico, USA and Ireland. Her residencies include the famous Café de Paris, Brasserie Zedel, Boisdale’s of Canary Wharf and Belgravia, and The National Theatre Foyer Stage on London’s South Bank. She’s swung through many a ballroom, banquet and bar,The Savoy, Hampton Court Palace,The Groucho Club, Berkeley Square Ball,The Times/BFI London International Film Festival,The Canary Wharf Jazz Festival along with an eclectic mix of London nightclubs -The Ram Jam Club, Ray’s Jazz Cafe, the sequined underworld of the Voluptè Lounge, 1920’s themed Black Cotton Club, Soho’s Black Gardenia, Passing Clouds and Stranger Than Paradise.
