COVID-19 MASK WEARING POLICY - as at 13-9-22
New Zealand’s COVID-19 Protection Framework (traffic lights) ended Monday 12 September 2022.
The wearing of face masks at our club is voluntary.
COVID-19 ORANGE LEVEL MASK WEARING POLICY - at at 23-7-22
Please beware of the mask wearing policy that has been put in place by the Point Chevalier RSA and Auckland Jazz and Blues Club in an effort to help mitigate the risks of spreading the Covid-19 virus and other viruses.
WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE THE WEARING OF FACE MASKS AT ALL TIMES WHILE MOVING AROUND THE VENUE.
Weekly attendance levels are increasing, which we appreciate, but this also increases the risk of infection, especially in the context of daily reported cases generally increasing across New Zealand over recent weeks. We appreciate that no one likes to wear a mask, but research indicates that they do help to reduce the risks of infection. Masks not only help to protect you, but they also demonstrate respect to others, especially those with a higher risk profile owing to underlying health issues.
We want you to enjoy our weekly concerts in a safe environment, so we respectfully ask for your co-operation with mask wearing while you are not seated. Please convey our policy to any guests you may bring to our club.
