Restaurant (downstairs) open 5 - 8.30pm. Full bar services.


The club was formed around 1992 to further the interests of jazz & blues music in Auckland.

The club has a membership of around 250 and has regular club nights every Tuesday evening at the Birkenhead RSA.

Concerts start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm with a break at half time. Meals are available before the concert. Full bar service.

Ample off-street parking. Come early to secure your seating.

Each night features a different local or out of town band.. Sometimes an International star makes an appearance.

The AUCKLAND JAZZ AND BLUES CLUB (Inc) is a private club operating on the premises of the Birkenhead RSA, and is therefore subject to the requirements of the liquor license held by the RSA.

ENTRY CHARGES / ENTRY CONDITIONS

Door Charges (cash only): Members = $10 Guests/Visitors = $25 (EFTPOS not currently available.)

On-line Bookings/reservations are not available.

DO NOT RESPOND TO ANY OFFERS OF TICKET SALES, AS WE DO NOT SELL TICKETS IN ADVANCE. (DOOR SALES ONLY)

We welcome casual visitors/guests to our club. Registration of contact details is required at time of entry. (to satisfy the legal requirements of the liquor licence held by the RSA.)

Memberships are available - $50 for annual membership. (July 1 to June 30)

Membership cards must be produced to gain entry @ $10.

Children are free.

Tertiary students must produce tertiary institution cards.

We welcome new members. A Membership Application Form can be completed when visiting the club.

Meals are available before the concert. Full bar service available throughout evening.
