The club was formed around 1992 to further the interests of jazz & blues music in Auckland.

The club has a membership of around 250 and has regular club nights every Tuesday evening at the Birkenhead RSA.

Concerts start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm with a break at half time. Meals are available before the concert. Full bar service.

Ample off-street parking. Come early to secure your seating.

Each night features a different local or out of town band.. Sometimes an International star makes an appearance.

Toni Swains music and shows have been described as “world class”, “sophisticated”;  blending soul, r&b, blues and jazz effortlessly in her original compositions delivered with style and panache, and that incredible voice! Toni Swain and band are renowned for their excellent,  moving live performances. 
“Deepest Water” is the latest album from Toni Swain, which skyrocketed to number 2 on the Blues and Roots Charts in February. It is receiving massive radio play nationwide and stunning reviews.
This will be the bands third tour to NZ, playing the Auckland Jazz and Blues Club Tuesday 9th August and then the Bay of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival.
