The club was formed around 1992 to further the interests of jazz & blues music in Auckland.

The club has a membership of around 250 and has regular club nights every Tuesday evening at the Birkenhead RSA.

Concerts start at 7.30pm and finish at 9.30pm with a break at half time. Meals are available before the concert. Full bar service.

Ample off-street parking. Come early to secure your seating.

Each night features a different local or out of town band.. Sometimes an International star makes an appearance.

Jenny B

Jenny B has recently arrived back in New Zealand and members may remember her stunning performance at the Club in October 2015. Jenny brings over twenty years of experience singing in Italy, New York and various points around the globe. In 2013 she won the Award ‘Coltellino s’Oro’, the highest award that the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano and Jenny has also done many television appearances in Italy, as well as studio work, and in 2000 won the best female vocalist award and the press and critics award at the San Remo festival. Hear Jenny B singing backed by her NZ quartet: James Langabeer (saxes), Ben fernandez – piano, Stu Johnstone – bass, Trevor Thwaites – drums.
